Hids, turn on fog lights headlights pop up.
I have jw hids and his resistor in fogs and low beams. Anyone else experience this? Sometimes I have to turn the lights on and off a few times to keep the headlights down.

Same thing here. Everything was fine until I did the fogs. My buckets will pop up with the switch on the parking lights/fogs position, but not all the time, I would say 50% of the time it happens. I have to shut all off then the buckets will stay down on the next try. I too have asked Jhonathan and he says it happens on his too and there is no known fix. More of an annoyance than a real problem, I just learned to live with it rather than going back to the stock lights. Sorry I could not be of more help but if I find a solution I will post it.

its the headlight gears causing the issue, not the hid fogs.

Hate to dredge this thread up from the dead, but I am experiencing the same issue.
2004 Coupe
*JW HID ACA Projectors low beam 35W ballast
*One Resistor spliced into the low beam OEM harness (this is the one I am using) http://www.corvettemods.com/Corvette...cs_p_5738.html
*Corvette Mods HID fogs 35W ballast
*No resistors on these
*JW LED Switchbacks in DRL
From time to time the headlamp buckets will raise when I turn on the fog lights. Or if the fogs are already defaulted on at startup, the headlamp buckets will raise with the single click of the stalk to turn on parking lights. The typical on-off-on sequence fixes this, but it's embarrassing.
Some time back my entire front end passenger side lights stopped working. (DRL, Fog, Low Beam, underhood lamp). I got that all fixed up with a new resistor...coincidentally it was installed on the passenger side, and also ended up with a new fog ballast and new switchback bulb. I recently purchased the ACA projectors used, but the harness doesn't make any sense to me, so I didn't use it.
I've been doing some searches and came to a few different avenues. Would like to get some opinions.
1. Do I need a resistor on the fogs also?
2. Will installing the harness prevent this and fix my issue with the passenger side going dead from a blown resistor? I was looking at this one...http://www.corvettemods.com/Corvette...ts_p_5573.html
3. Should I just get rid of the HID fogs and go back to stock?
4. Is this a brass gear issue? I don't hear any grinding or anything that would lead me to believe it is.
5. Any other suggestions, or fixes that have come around in the last few years to assist.

my headlamp gears had some wear and it caused them to go up with one click...
Now HIDs i know(some do/some dont) will sometimes not go down unless you turn off and push to HighBeam then they will go down.
i had the down problem with my Hids cpl times..
funny thing is i burnt up one ballast 2 days ago and had an extra ballast but diff brands,
now they go up and down perfectly normal.. and this has happen to me several times...
