Default Oil Change

Did my own oil change and put in 6 quarts of synthetic oil. My gauges show 30% oil life and reads low oil level. How do I reset?

Been a while since I did mine, but I believe you have to have the ignition "on" but the engine off. Then bring up your oil life on the screen, press and hold "reset". Oil life should then show 100%.

Also, check your oil level when the car has sat for a while. May need a tad more than 6 quarts to show full on the stick.

Yep, you need to put in 6.5 quarts of oil.

Your low oil warning comes on at 1/2 quart low, I tested it when filling up oil.

I believe the HUD displays only the oil pressure, same as the analog on the dash, not the actual oil level.
