Default 68 Vette 427/390HP - Is there an aftermaket Aluminum Intake for Oval Port Heads?

Is there an aftermaket aluminum Intake Manifold (Edelbrock) for a '68 Vette 427/390HP. I have found a stock Aluminum Q-Jet Manifold but I will have to pay big $$$. I would like to use a holley carb and still keep everything under the hood without replacing the hood.

No appologies...I spent alot of time researching stock manifold part numbers and decided to save some time and ask for help on the aftermarket stuff. I appreciate your time.
Thanks!

That's the only one that fits under the stock hood. It will make more power than the stock intake but Edelbrock techs told me that it tends to have an off idle stumble that's very hard to cure. I found that to be the case on the smallblock in my avatar. They recommended the RPM AirGap in conjunction with the L-88 hood for even more power and no stumble. That's a big investment and I wouldn't have made it except for the fact that I was going to paint the car anyway. I did pick up a lot of power over the stock manifold.

Also the Holley Street Dominator will fit BB stock hood, but you can only find used ones as Holley stopped making them since long time. I heard that they will allow more low end than the Torker IIs.

Try the factory 3963569 aluminum low rise. It takes a Holley and will fit under your hood. It is rectangle port, just use a rectangle port gasket.
I see these alot at swap meets for $120-150.
There are some on this forum doing this,(myself included). It has been said on this forum and others that rectangle port intakes on oval port heads stop making power at about 5500-6500 rpms.
If you are not drag racing and out to get the last thousandth of a second, this will work fine for you.

I did not mean to imply that a lot of people here are using the 3963569 lowrise intake, only that it will work. What I meant is that there are a lot of people using rectangle port intakes on oval port heads. While I have used that intake in the past, before I got an L88 hood, I now use a Holley Strip Dominator.

Got me a street dominator off of fleabay. engine dyno'ed 511 hp with headers, 496 with mcjacks shortys and a holley. will go back QJet .. maybe

I think I paid something like $100 for the intake. I do have an alum gm low rise; its not going to be used!
