Need to replace torque tube bushings? What else could this be?
For a while now, my car's exhibited an odd vibration when sitting at red lights with the car in gear. If I shift to neutral it goes away. If I let off the brake a bit and let it roll a couple inches forward it gets less intense and even goes away completely. It's an A4.
I also feel something similar under heavy acceleration at higher rpms, but I just figured that might be normal from such a large engine accelerating so quickly.
Could it be the bushings? If not, any other ideas? No codes are thrown when it happens, seems to be more common when the car is warmed up too. RPMs don't seem to dip any when I feel it either.
Thanks.

It's hard to pinpoint. I feel it mainly through the floodboard and the dead pedal...
Been too hot and too busy lately to get a chance to investigate further.

I am running a Centerforce Dual Friction Clutch (self balancing) and a RAM Billit steel flywheel. I have 73000 miles on the stock t tube back.
If I slowly give my car gas with the clutch pushed in I will get a mild Vibration midway ( a hummMMMM than goes awayat higher rpm levels) I hear it, I see it in the shifter and I feel it in the gas and clutch pedal and my seat. I actually bought thicker wheel spacers because I thought my rear wheels were rubbing (2000 FRC with L5 Flares and C6 Z rims). I replaced my rear hubs..... I am about to replace my torque tube bushings and bearings. then if that is not it my clutch and flywheel. I will keep you up to dat on my status, please do the same for me bro.
