I'm getting ready to go to Pinks next month and can't seem to find out if my current helmet made in 1999 will meet the current NHRA guidelines. I know some of you guys race a bunch and maybe you can give me some insight and info. I don't mind buying a new helmet, but, don't want to spend $150 if I don't need to. I can't find the rating on my helmet, just the date it was made. I don't have a current rule book
either.

NHRA is quite lax

look for SA2000 or M2000 or newer

I read another post on ls1tech, mine should be good till 2011. I may buy another just incase thats more current. thanks
