I assume you mean just the catback. This is totally subjective. I suggest you listen to sound clips on youtube, other sites, etc. Also frequent the local cruise nights and hook up with local forum members. One man's obnoxious, is another man's music....

I'd go to a Vette show in your area and listen to the different catbacks, talk to the owners and make a decision!

A very popular option is to install Z06 Ti mufflers. There is usually a set on the forum in the $500.00 range.
Not sure how close you are to Carlisle but a buddy of mine picked up a very nice set of Corsa mufflers for $50.00 at one of the muffler installation tents. There was a guy wanting to upgrade his system and the old Corsas would have gone on the pile. He bought them from the guy before the car went on the lift and then paid the installer to do the swap. He drove away with a very nice set up for about $150.00.

I just bought the LG Big 3". It sounds very nice at LGMotorsports.com they have video of in the car while driving and outside. They are using LG Pro headers which is a 3" system all the way out but I bought the street headers which are 2.5". I talked to a couple people that have that setup and they said it still sounds the same. Its only $800 also so its a good deal.

Initial exhaust change was to Corsa Touring. Very nice sound and no drone, especially with the stereo, stainless nice. Fretted about changing to Titanium Z06 exhaust with installation of supercharger but ABSOLUTELY NO REGRETS. I got mine for $450 with only 3000 miles on them. They are very quiet but awesome at wide open throttle. Significantly lighter than any other exhaust also. Go for it. If doubts try Ti and if you don't like them sell them on the forum. I actually made money on the 6 year old Corsas. Feel great!

I'm assuming you don't have headers and are still on the stock h-pipe.
If this is the case, the borla stingers and b&b bullets sound perfect in my opinion. Once you start getting into the headers and such, these will become too loud. Stock h-pipe and manifolds though, they sound perfect!

Stock Ti's, Stock Ti's with the mod, or GHL bullets.
