Sounds like a TPMS issue. Read DTC codes? http://www.corvetteweb.com/c5codes.html

You would take the car to the STEALERSHIP for a simple problem like that??

I agree!! READ AND POST THE CODES.

If there are a LOT of old history DTCs,,,,, CLEAR ALL the DTCs and take the car for a short ride. BEFORE YOU TURN OFF the ignition, read the codes again and post what you get. If you have MESSAGES in the DIC, just press RESET until the messages go away so you can enter the DTC CODE reading routine.

The DTCs will help determine what you need to address.

There are PLENTY of other than STEALERSHIP options to get your car repaired. The most important part is to be ARMED with knowledge before you take your car ANYWHERE!

Good advice by Bill. If you post the codes, someone here can guide you as to what the problem may be and the recommended solution.

if the issue is a dead/dying TPMS and depending on where you are in FL, go to a Discount Tire to get them to furnish/install new TPMS units

Discount is a chain based in AZ that has started moving into FL (Tallahassee, Winter Haven, Orlando, Lakeland for sure)

I won't go anywhere else for tire related stuff since I discovered them in 1987
