Default ** TPE's Oil Pressure Sensor Relocation Kit **

Have you checked out our Re-Designed Oil Pressure Sensor Relocation Kit?

We originally released our popular "Oil Pressure Relocation Kit" last year, and a couple of months ago introduced our Our "NEW" Patent Pending Oil Pressure Sensor Relocation Kit. This new kit has been met with even more enthusiasm than the original!

In the intrest of always making our product better, we listened to a few skeptics out there who swear that by reading the oil pressure before the oil filter, there was a chance of a false reading. This caused them to purchase 200-250 dollar kits from non supporting vendors. This bothered us to no end. So, we sat down and tried to simplify the system, while making the entire kit better, yet keeping the costs as low as physically possible.

Well, the end result is nothing short of perfect.

In the stock C5/Early C6, the oil temp sensor is connected at the port directly above the oil filter, AFTER the filtered oil. It is encased in a small aluminum housing.

So what we did, is have a new oil distribution bloc CNC'd to accept both the factory oil temp sensor, AND the Oil pressure sensor. We also included in an 1/8th" NPT port for the guy who has a turbo on his car, and needs clean, filtered oil for his turbos.

Now, with the NEW and Improved oil distribution block, the replacement of the sensor is even easier, and more accessible. You no longer have to remove the main oil galley plug, AND you can feel confident that you are checking pressure after the filter. There is now NO reason whatsoever that anyone can complain.. We have satisfied 100% of everyones concerns, AND kept the price WAY lower than anyone else.

Also, with this kit, we have included everything you will need for a complete instalation. All the way down to the new factory gasket. It is a true plug-n-play kit. If you can unscrew your oil filter, you can install this kit.

We will be offering this in 3 seperate forms.
1) A complete kit, including the sensor
2) A Harness kit, without the factory sensor
3) And upgrade kit for our existing customers of the previous design.

The new "Complete" kit includes:
CNC'd Oil Distribution Block
OEM Quality Extension Harness
Factory Oil Pressure Sensor
1/8" NPT Plug
Factory Gasket
16x1.5 Oil Plug (For old sensor location, not shown in pictures)
6mx35mm Stainless Cap Screws
Complete Instructions

The new "Harness Kit" includes:
CNC'd Oil Distribution Block
OEM Quality Extension Harness
1/8" NPT plug
Factory Gasket
16x1.5 Oil Plug (For old sensor location, not shown in pictures)
6mx35mm Stainless Cap Screws
Complete Instructions

The new "Upgrade Kit" Includes:
CNC'd Oil Distribution Block
1/8" NPT Plug
Factory Gasket
16x1.5 Oil Plug (For old sensor location, not shown in pictures)
6mx35mm Stainless Cap Screws
Upgrade Instructions

Although the original design works great, it was our desire to improve on an already product.

The advantages over our original design are:

New location after the oil filter in order to read oil pressure in all pressure enviroments, to include oil filter failure.
Easier access to new sensor in the event of a failure
No longer have to remove the main oil galley plug on the side of the motor.
Threaded 1/8" NPT port for all turbo owners who need a clean oil feed, without having to tap their existing oil temp port.
Supercharger owners who utilize the old oil port location for their blower oil feed no longer have an interference with the oil pressure sensor.
Complete plug-n-play
In an aluminum housing, exactly like the factory for accurate reading
Reduced install time by 30 minutes.

We have over 50 kits available to ship immediately! You can order your kits using the following link: relocation kit

The Price's are as follows

"Complete Kit" $179.95

"Harness Kit" $129.95

"Upgrade Kit" $99.95

**Dealers/Distributors are very welcome**

***PLEASE NOTE*** On Late model C6's the oil temp sensor is not located in the factory position on this block. It is in a different location on the motor. The Late C6 kits do not have the oil temp sensor port. So your kit would look the same, but without the oil temp sensor port.

Oil Temp sensors are not included.

My oil pressure recently pegged at 80 on the dash. I'm going to want to install this relocation kit. Is it required to remove the old stock sensor? I've heard they leak, is this hurting anything?

We recommend removing the old sensor, and even provide you with a plug in our kit to plug off that hole. If you leave the sensor in and it begins to leak, it could create a problem.

We have had multiple customers ask about using the brass oil pressure sensor, rather than the stock aluminum. So, we are now carrying the brass sensors, and will include them in the complete kit, rather than the aluminum one, upon request. If you order from our website, please be sure to check the box for brass sensor.

We have multiple kits in stock and ready to ship immediately.

Don't need one yet, but I sure like the looks of the part you are manufacturing. If and when the time comes I will be ordering one.
Best wishes.

We have been getting many of the same questions over and over again, so I figured I would make it a bit easier for you guys by posting FAQ and answers about this kit:

Other than the oil distribution block, what is the difference between the original relocation kit and this new one?

The oil pressure sensor is relocated to the oil pan so that the oil pressure reading is taken after the filter rather than before it. It is also easier to relocate as you do not have to take out the plug on the side of the engine block.

Does the manifold have to be removed when installing this kit?

Yes, because you must remove the old sensor as well as plug our relocation harness into the factory harness. However, one of the members has posted a way that they installed this kit without removing the manifold.

Do I have to remove the old sensor, or can I leave it is as a plug?

We do not recommend leaving the old sensor in as a plug. The plug can begin to leak and cause problems. We include a plug in all of our kits.

Which is better, the aluminum or the brass sensor?

Honestly, it is a matter of opinion. The aluminum sensor is what comes from the factory, but many people prefer the brass. The cost and warranties are the same.

What is the warranty on the sensor?

You have a 1 year replacement warranty for your oil pressure sensor, whether ou choose the aluminum or the brass.

I hope this has helped answer some of your questions. If I missed any please let me know.

As always, we have numerous kits in stock and ready to ship

We got a question the other day from a member asking if there was any drilling or tapping involved with our relocation kit. No! This is a true plug and play kit, with no drilling, tapping or cutting involved.

I want to clarify something that we keep getting asked...

You can only purchase the "Upgrade Kit" if you purchased our original kit as the upgrade kit does not include an extension harness.
