Install of 3.15 gears
Hello
I would like to thank everyone that responded to my install questions. The old gears came out with any problems and the new went in no problems. The question I now have is what has to be done to the cars computer? Thank in advance.

you're in luck; any Chevy dealer should be able to reporgram your PCM for the 3.15 (since it is a factory available option). My local dealer quoted me a price of $60 using their GM TechTool 2 to do the reprog. This dealer program is not a "performance" reprog though, rather just a shift point and rev limiter update to match the 3.15 carrier.
