Default Wanted: Tire Dressing That Doesn't Pollute Car w/ Black Dots

Anyone have a favorite tire shine product that won't come off and spray all along the side of a light colored C5? I even tried wiping it down with a dry rag.

(to be clear, the car doesn't have black dots - it's the tire dressing flying up from....okay, you know what I meant.)

Spray paint them flat black, and wait 8 hours before you drive it..

No, not really-

I'm having the same problem you are-doesn't matter how much I wipe them off, there's still the "speckles" on the paint after I drive it.
(mine's Nassau Blue,so they are harder to see,but still there)

I like Mother's Back To Black liquid. Apply it with an old cloth over foam applicator pad, and let it soak in good, preferably over night, before you drive. It leaves a nice satin black look on the tires, and does not sling off like the spray tire dressings.

You shouldnt get sling with any product if you give it a night to soak in. I use Black Magic Tire Wet and its awesome, super shiny, but I'll buy any tire dressing product thats on sale. They all work equally well in my experience.

I always spray the tires BEFORE washing the car. I just don't soap up the tires, just spray them with water. What this does is remove only the excess tire dressing leaving a drip free, satin finish. Just the way I like it and best of all, no mess on the rims or car.

Zaino Z16 will not sling and gives a nice matte finish. The tires look new ,not greasy and not too shiny. Just make sure the tires are nice and clean before you apply it.

I like Forever Black. It's not a shiny black but it makes it look like a brand new tire. It's a black dye. It's almost reminds ya of that black wax. Just wipe it on and buff it off and you have a nice rich black that is never wet so it can't fling all over your car. It lasts a long time also

I use Meguiars Natural Shine on all my cars Interior trim & Tires. It's a semi-gloss shine and costs about $4.50.Easy to find at Walmart and many popular auto parts places.

The best way to do this is to take the wheels off, wash the tires with Bleche White and then soak them with Armor All. Let them sit over night and then re-install on the car and wash the car along with the tires. You will get a nice sheen that isn't too shiny and nothing will fly onto the car. The sheen will last through several washings.

Thanks for all the suggestions.....I guess I should have been more clear. I need suggestions from drivers of a white or yellow Vette. I always let it dry over night and always wipe it down.

I had a dark blue Range Rover and never had a single issues with a tire product spraying up on the car. You simply won't notice it on a darker car. Even silver hides it pretty well.

But white - and I'd guess yellow - show hundreds of dark black spots as far back as 3-4 feet past the tire.

(I'm thinking my blast up to 125 today is what made the problem a little worse).

Try the Stoners brand aeresol can of Tire Shine. It dries in about 30 seconds to a a minute and leaves a great finsish without being too shiny. Geive it a try. I think it will do what are are looking for. No specks flung on your fenders when driving.

I usually soak the tires overnight. Drive the car in the AM and use quick detailer on the areas where it has slung onto the paint.

I use the Forever Black. Everywhere. Wheel wells, body side moldings on the Jeep, Wiper valley, tires, under the hood. It's a black dye gel and I use it on everything black.
