Default What's a 2004 Z06 Engine Worth ? 8k miles

I have a friend that bought a new 2004 z06 drove it about two years,8k miles then had a 427 sb installed ? He is trying to sell me the car,If i buy it ,i was going to sell the engine.Not sure yet if it has all brackets but is complete.

See what a crate one costs first
Then do a cylinder leakdown test , if it's good you can figure it from there.

The engines themselves are the same. The only differences were subtle things like the oil pan to make it fit in different cars. You wouldn't have any problem putting the CTS-V LS6 in your C5. We actually have them on special right now in long block form as opposed to crate engine form, so you might want to pick up an LS6 intake to go with it. The price is virtually unbeatable. $3115 for a complete longblock and flat rate $129 shipping. You can't find more info and pictures here:
