Default Outside Mirrors

Does anybody know of a fix for loose mirror pivot. It appears that this is a problem on C5's and there must a a way to repair them other than replacing the whole mirror which is what the dealer suggests.

Usually, they don't get loose, they just fall off.
The fix is the same, unless you actually had a spring break.
