Default Ipod in my c5

I have a disk changer in my C5 trunk. I also have an Ipod I like to use. I heard there is something I can plug into my radio for a direct hook-up for the Ipod. I understand that I would need to unplug the disck changer.

Has anyone don this? If so, where would I buy the plug in?

Thanks

i have that set up in mine for my zune. cd is disabled but that didn't matter to me. it works great! i found the materials searching on line but i had it done by an audio electronics shop because i didn't want to mess things up. if you go to the audio side of this form i am sure you will find a wealth of info.

I bought the Periheral Isimple off the auction site for $99 it took less then an hour to install it and put everything back together. Yes you do have to unplug the CD changer in the back but with the CD in the head unit and 100 times more music on my IPOD then the 12 discs in the changer I didn't really care.

This is a no brainer easy to do DIY. The hardest part is unplugging the connector from the changer.

ok, i think i am even more crazier than i thought i was. i swear i used the audio section when i was considering my hookup but it is either gone, embedded in another part of this forum or, i have slipped a little more anyway, i went to look for it for it to send the link to you but i came up empty handed. maybe it was another forum? sorry, but it sure isn't the first time i have been wrong

correction

i found it, it is in the general topics forum, http://forums.corvetteforum.com/audio-electronics-20/ look at the sticky and go from there
