Default Who can Fix ABS Unit Leak?

Hey guys

I took my ABS unit out of the car as it is leaking from the bottom when you apply brake pressure. I know there are company's that rebuild the EBCM side but does anyone fix the leaks in these units or know how?

The picture below is actully "Bill Curly's" I believe my unit is leaking from the 2 circles on the right hand side in the picture.

thanks for any info

Well...Just found a pump on ebay for $120.00 out of a 2001 vert that is used but in good working condition so I picked it up. Still would like to know if anyone rebuilds these?

It is normally said that you need a Tech II to bleed the pump. One member did say that if you use a pressure bleeder and get the pressure up around the mid 20psi range that it will open the valves and bleed past them. I have not tried this it yet.

The GM FSM says to pressurize to 25 psi when pressure bleeding but it still requires using the Tech 2 to bleed the ABS unit when the unit has air in it.
