Yes, I just got done reading an article in the new issue of Vette and they tried several different wheel and tire sizes. You can do it with no problem

Cool, thanks for the info,

I thought that there might be a rubbing issue. Also I thought I heard of problems with the ABS/Traction control system.

Hopefully not.

See this recent thread:
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/zerothread?id=230442

There you'll find some advise to maintain the front/rear tire size difference. I would think the taller 18" wheels with 45 tires could present a rubbing issue on front but I don't really know. Have you considered the change to your speedo (slower with larger diameter tires)?

So the back rims will work on the front without rubbing?

I have read similar posts, and there is always a warning about the taller tire up front causing havoc with active handling.

On my street car I run 285's front with 295 rear. The only issue I have had is when the car was lowered too much the top of the tires would rub the inner fender. I rasied it back up a 1/2" and it now clears. Wheels are stock y2k 18" all around. I do run a fair amount of neg camber. 1-2 degrees.

Thanks T1Z06,

My car is currently lowered as well. No problem bringing it back up a little.
