Default Active Handling Warming up??

Hi Guys,
I had to put a battery in the car last weekend after the long winter. I am now getting a message that the "Active Handling is warming up" This has lasted as long as 5 miles, and I got it 3 out of the 5 times that I have driven it since.
Is this common? Is it related to the battery swap?

Thanks.

It is normal. It happens all the time. Nothing to worry about.

That's an interesting message; I've not seen it yet on my '99.

I've had that message display only about 2 or 3 times, in just over 5 years of ownership.

Do you show any trouble codes with it?

I had it happen after i reloaded the tune on my car one time. It only took about a minute to go away if i recall. Check for any logged codes.

I've only see it on my 02 Z when I pull it out of the garage, then proceed down the road at a very low speed, e.g. under 10 ish mph for a distance of a block or 2, then it says warm up complete and it is gone.

Do not think it is anything to worry about.

I got that message today, and it never went off.
The next ignition cycle, it was gone.
I think it may have something to do with how much you turn the wheel when you first start moving, and time to calibrate the system.

Default Active handling

Thanks guys - I feel better. I'm still getting used to the technology.

The only warnings I'm used to getting from older muscle cars is smoke or a loud bang.

Put a new battery in my 02 Friday and drove the car 140 miles and received the message twice. Drove the car back 140 miles Saturday and did not get the message.
