Default Damned Torque Tube bolts

I am having hell getting the 50 Torx head bolts out of my torque tube. I have a 240 lbs impact wrench but they are still not breaking loose. They have a TON of blue lock tite on them. Is there anything I can do to loosen these things up? I got 4 out of 12

Heat? Loctite weakens with heat.

Dude those things are in there. My compressor is 140 psi and my impact is 240 ft lb. I really thought that would take them out but NOOOOOOO. I have figure out how to apply heat to the bolt only? There has got to be a trick to this?

Use a heat gun. The steel bolt will heat hotter and faster and retain heat more than the aluminum.

What about a soldering iron? I hate to buy a heat gun just for this issue.

Hand held propane torch. You can pick one up at any hardware store cheap. You will find this a very handy tool in many corvette projects.

There standard torx heads and the IR's don't do any better as I have their full line up.

Them bolts are welded in with blue loc-tite. The heat method of torch works well. I've done it a number of times.

Yes I do and all of the other goodies. GM literally soaks the bolts in loc-tite so that they don't back out from vibration.

Ya the bolts have a solid 1.5 inches of blue locktite on them. I went and got a CN 425 lb impact wrench today. I will get a torch tomorrow and heat the bolts up and break em loose. Thanks for the help guys. I love this place.
