How hard to switch a Window switch ??

Default How hard to switch a Window switch ??

My driver side window switch (non memory) will be replaced soon. Is this a difficult job ?

Just pry up at the rear edge of the switch. Then slide the switch rearward.

Very easy just be gentle with the brittle plastic...can try to pry up with fingers, only one connector.

Better to disconnect the neg battery cable first, no need to take the door panel off.

Ah just seen your pic- no need to worry about breaking the old one! Just don't drop the connector into the panel save some fishing.

Getting the switch back in place is harder than getting it out. When you get it out you'll see there's basically a hook on the front, and a tab on the rear. When installing the new switch, slide the hook under the front of the hole, then push the switch as far forward as you can--that will help you press the tabbed end into place.
