meziere dead who is using Evans?
well pegged the temp gauge and tonight I discovered previous owner didn't install a thermostat and the meziere isn't running.
I hate electric water pumps so I'm thinking about the evans.
I'm trying to decide if I should have Meziere rebuild or just change it out

I'm running the newer style LS3 water pump on a 500rwhp 418ci LS3 motor in my '02 Z06. If you decide to use a GM water pump look at the LS3 as it weighs about 3-4 lbs less and the large bell on the front is smaller (flat vs. bell shaped) on the LS3 giving it less rotating mass than the LS1/LS6 water pumps. You will need a new t-stat for the LS3 water pump as the design is different.
Best of luck in your decision.

Thanks what does one of those cost and how do I get one?
Is that a dealer only item?

Jegs shows the Edelbrock pump at $436.
Not sure why these mechanical pumps are so much.
I don't understand why the electric pumps are so much either at around $700
