Default Magnacharger in Vette Rag

On page 66 of the March 2002 (Huh already! Did I miss Christmas and New Years?) Vette mag there is a tease about an Eaton/Magnusson positive displacement SC for the LS1.

http://www.magnacharger.com is of little help.

If ya look real hard it appears that a front drive pulley is connected by a loooong shaft to a tandem set of pulleys in the rear of the unit which drive the compressor blades.

Wonder if it's air-water intercooled (doubt it).

Wonder if any of ya'all know more? This could be interesting.

Merry Christmas,

Pete

Pete- heres a link to the thread started a while back. http://forums.corvetteforum.com/zerothread?id=197929

Looks like they will be offering an intercooler also in the future.
Thanks!

Nate
