I know that there has been discussion about this so here goes.

My stock wagonwheels were in bad shape on my 01 - my car spent it's first couple of years in Pennsylvania with the snow and salt.

I bought the C6 Z06 Factory Reproductions chrome wheels from TomZ Wheels (stock sizes F= 17X8.5 and R 18X9.5 with stock offset).

I weighed both the stock wagonwheels and the new chrome TomZ wheels side-by-side on a good postal scale in my garage. The weight of the wheels was exactly the same front and back. Honestly, in partial ounces the new chromies were lighter.

Sorry, its dark now, I'll post pictures of the new wheels tomorrow. They look really good!

wow, i thought atleast 4-5 lbs difference in Repro wheels to stock wheels, but how much they weigh? that iam curious.

cool can you post the actual wts of the sizes you measured?

The wagon wheels are heaver than the 2000 + thin spokes - so this sounds about right. The factory c5 z06 will be even lighter than the thin spokes.
