Default Replacing C5 low beam bulb?

I know the bulb retainers twist counter clockwise. And I can get my hand to the them. I just cant feel the release clip. Anyone have pics or can tell me where the clip is located?

Just finished upgrading the fog light bulbs! Any tips on releasing the headlight bulb clips?

No clips like the newer cars, Just twist and the socket will become loose and just pull straight back.

Thanks guys! I was afraid to twist too hard. They came out just like you said. I now have brighter fogs and low beams. I don't use the high beams much, but I may replace them also after I try out the new lights tonight. I had to go through the bottom for the fogs, and just removed the black headlight surronds to do the low beams. The forum rocks!

Rick, just saw this post

For those having trouble visualizing the headlamp unit here are some pics

Heres the stock light

Here's the bulb holder with the small clip at the top (this one's an after market stop/tail but very similar). Its just a slight squeeze and it twists right out.

One of my low beams went out last night and I was wondering is it easier to take the light assembly out to replace the bulb or can you slip your hand back there?

Also I was thinking about going HID, is now a good time and will I notice a big difference?
