How much Does my Coupe REALLY weigh?
The door label says 3678, which I'm assuming is the max weight...since I know my car doesn't really weigh that much...
If I recall, I've seen the real-world weight in the 3200's written somewhere...
Can any of you confirm this?
Thanks all:)

I'm pretty sure that the 3600 number is gross weight or something (I forget the term).....I think it refers to the weight of the car plus the max number of passsengers (which is obviously two). Isn't that right? It's the number for the car when it's loaded.

Re: How much Does my Coupe REALLY weigh? (C5 Pewter Coupe)
Edmund's list the weight for a 2002 Z06 as 3116, Coupe 3214 and Convert as 3210.

Most drag strips have a set of scales that can be used to weight your car "as run."
At Cecil County Dragway, my Z06 weighted 3090 with half tank of gas. This compares to the normal roadtest weight of 3115 in the magazines. It's good to know the number because you can then use it (plus your dressed weight) together with your trap speed and the weather to calculate your actual HP that day, using one of the handy calculators found on the web. It's a good cross-check on your dyno numbers.

My 2000 M6 Coupe weighs around 3175 lb with just over a quarter of a tank of gasoline. The M6 is lighter than the A4, and to further cut pounds off the factory claim of 3224 lb. for a 2000 Coupe, I have a Borla XR-1, which is around 40 lb. less than my previous B&B Tri-Flo. The XR-1 has no mufflers...just a small front resonator. Right now I weigh 167 lb. (and climbing rapidly), so the car and driver weight is pretty svelte. I like haulin' butt, but I don't haulin' AROUND a lot of butt...

My stock '01 with full tank weighed 3240 @ Roebling Road, which is known to have an accurate set of scales for total weight.
Just for info, my '99 FRC weighed 3078 there with full tank - twice, several months apart - which actually speaks well for that accuracy thing :)

I believe the weight is on the build sheet...
