Default Tire pressure on track?

What should my Tire pressures be for my 6spd coupe running street tires- non runflats

on the dragstrip for better results?

Gonna depend on track conditions and launches. Start around 25lbs and play with it until it works.

don't overpressure them. they suggested that for my first track day so i put 40 lbs in them. they were like ice bricks!

changed to 28 lbs, worked perfect but the track was hot and ambient temps were around 90 degrees so tires coming off the track was around 34 lbs

the regular 30 lb recommendation from GM is a good starting point, lower it if the tires feel slippery

Air up the fronts to around 40lbs. Rears are another story.
