Default Is this a good deal on tires?

I need replacement tires immediately. I can get the firestone wide ovals, all 4, balanced, mounted, and an alignment on the z all for $800 out the door. Warranty on the tires too. Would you take this deal?

Sounds like a very good deal to me, especially, if they in C5 Z06 sizes. You don't use or need run-flats on a Z.

Yup, that's a good deal. I paid about $50-$100 more to get the same setup on Z06 Rims for my coupe. Really happy with the tires.

Did you put 265's or 275's on the front?

tire rack charges 154 x 2 = 308 + 202 x 2 = 404 total of 712 just in tires from tire rack + shipping which is probably 40.00 . Figure 750 in just tires. Vette alignments are usually $100+. Valve stems and balancing is usually 8-12 per tire. You are getting a really good deal. I would be real comfortable with that purchase!

I paid $835 for stock sizes, for a set of firestones, for my 02 Z, last march, mounted and balanced at firstone, and they gave me six months, same as cash no interst, so thats how long I took to pay them...

I did 265/40s on the front, 295/35s on the rear. $749 shipped, then I paid another $120 for mounting and balancing. No Alightment.

Like the tires, only have maybe 500 miles on them, but now, I'm not too crazy about the wheels I picked.

More than likely, just put the stockers back on, and sell the wheels.

Has anyone of you who are running FWO's ever owned Michelin PS2's? Likes/dislikes between the two?

Edit - besides the price.
