99vette with Climate control problems
In 90 degree weather the AC puts out only cool air (about 70)
and the AC light cycles about every 20 seconds (as does the compressor),
My mechanic looked at it, found no leaks, vac. the system added the same amount of R134 and said the problem he has heard of was the control panel in the dash. I have the dual automatic Climate control system.
Also Freon level is OK, Compressor comes on, and the AC light comes on and off.
RAN THE CODES and here is what came up
58-SDM B1001H (Option Configuration error)
AO LDCM U1064H (Lost Commo. with Body Control Module (BCM))
A1 RDCM B2225H ?
U1064H (same as above)
BO RFA U1096H (Lost Commo. with Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC)
U1064H (Lost Commo. with BCM)
U1016H
Also noticed No error codes coming from HVAC
Any ideas? (and I am still reading searches)
I cleared the codes, disconnected the battery for an hour, took a ride, same problem, sounds like a trip to the dealer $$.
