Default 2004 heads fit my 1999?

Hi all. Quick question, will the heads from a 2004 LS1 fit my 1999 LS1 ? Is it just a straight swap?
Thanks

Default '04 headds on a '99

They are a direct bolt on.

Why not got to something the breath's a little better? LS6/2 (243's) heads flow better and for about 1G you can get ported and milled heads from one of the sponsers.

Thanks Bob , but I can get the 241's cheap and they have no mileage. I'd love to add some heads with more flow, but I'm on a budget and just want to get the beast running properly again... it needs an intake valve for cylinder # 5 So at this point, just a straight swap looks good.
