Default clutch pedal issue

I just replaced my clutch, pressure plate and flywheel; now my clutch pedal releases approx. 1 inch from the floor. The new clutch is a centerforce dual friction with a fidanza aluminum flywheel.

I have bled the clutch hydraulics several times and no luck. The pedal was fine before the clutch swap.

One theory I have is the TO bearing may be binding? I don't know!

Any ideas/suggestions? I have it back on stands and ready to take apart again.

Thanks

My SpecII came with a 1/4" shim that goes behind the slave cyl to allow the clutch to engage and disengage as soon as you step on the pedal. But its still not enough. Its still to close to the floor for me. Maybe yours needs something similar.

The new set-up has a thicker disc and needs more pedal travel versus the stock unit.

You could install an adjustable master cylinder by Cartek or McClod.
