While doing DIC diagnostics, the following code popped up. Appreciate any help in translating what it is. Didn't see it on the stengel.net dic codes

A good read about this code...

Have you done any mods to the car recently, ie: removing the AIR system?

This basically means the right front 02 sensor is not reading enough oxygen content in the exhaust stream during the 1st minute of engine operation following cold startup (the time period in which the AIR pump runs).

Thanks for the info. I do have a Vortex Ram Air induction system that I made an adjustment to because the air filter was loose. I guess that must have caused it. But the code keeps returning every other day. What can I do to keep it from returning? Will this cause harm to my engine?

FYI, the dealer charged me $400+ to replace the check valves to fix this code.

Afterward I discovered on this forum a way to clean the valves. I should have tried this first. Search the forum for "check valves" to find a thread with lots of pictures on how to do it. Basically you squirt some carb cleaner in the hose.
