It depends on how you drive. If you conserve gas by; being light on the gas, 1st to 4th shifting, coasting alot, you may get around 20mpg.

I average 12mpg city.:o

I know it doesnt help you any by me not giving an answer to your question but considering how I drive it would be lower then I should get if I drove more conservative. But then again who really drives that way 100% of the time...

Well let's see now -

1. Stock engine was running about 375 miles.
2. With heads / cam to 418 RWHP = about 325 miles.
3. Added a 3:90 rear end and I actually went up to 360 miles.
4. Additional mods and not driving more than once each month I figiure I get about 350 miles.
5. Mustang at the light = 8 miles per gallon.
6. Viper at the light = 6 miles per gallon.
7. Camaro at the light = 7 miles per gallon.
8. Ferrari at the light = 5 miles per gallon (last ticket was 182mph in a 70mph zone against a Ferrari Modena and we were nuts out wall to wall in a tie!). At least the mounties were cool and let us drive home under escort.

It was 3:30am on a stretch of highway we both knew with no entrances or exits for 11 miles and there were about 100 folks watching - probably drew a bit too much attention. We were running for $100 and bragging rights and the other guy was older then me and I'm no spring chicken - as the judge pointed out in our hearing.

Childish but man, was worth it

Now I only drive on Corvette club road trips and try to keep it under 100 in safe conditions. Mostly pace general traffic with an occaissional burst. Like my lawyer said - driving a Corvette is like having a big DIC - sooner or later you're going to want to pull it out and show it off.

By the way, it took 7 state troopers and over a mile to slow down. You DO NOT stand on the binders at 182mph. Well maybe one time you do...

Haha damn ....

I get about 17-18 actual calculated mileage if I drove mainly city ... 20-21 combination driving. This is lower than the dic displays by on average of about .6 mpg.

Your lawyer sounds like a funny guy.

Out of curiosity, what do they do to you for going 182mph? Sandpaper condom?

I estimate about 19 mpg for city only in an 02 LS1 Auto. But average mixed miles has been a consistant 23.

Ive never been curious about MPG on any of my vehicles but according to the window stickers...I have an H2 that gets 9, and 4x4 Expy that gets 12, a couple more big huge 4X4's that get 10. Gas mileage has never been a concern of mine.

On the Z06 ive actually never hit the fuel button on the DIC.

I average around 13 mpg and i drive around 40 miles daily. Half and half between city and freeway driving. But i am addicted to the sound of twin turbos so i tend to hit the go pedal more than i probably should

guys, he's asking about miles per tank...not miles per gallon.

i reset my first trip'ometer every fillup and if i stretch it, i can get really close to 400 per tank between fillups.

It's very rare when I get less than 20 mpg around town, with my 2004 MN6.

300-325 if you run to the 1/8th tank mark. If you only let it get down to 3/4 full before you fill up, 100 miles. Nothing but interstate, 480 miles per tank. Fill up by 485, start looking for a place to park at 492-493 (don't ask).
