Default Need help with which exhaust to get

What I'm looking for is a very deep "purring" sound when at idle. I heard one 'Vette like this at Carlisle and the wife and I both liked it a lot. Don't know what exhaust it was, but it sounded like the car was purring and it had a deep bass sound to it. From what I've read it couldn't be Corsas because it didn't sound like a motor boat at all. It had a very smooth sound.

Thanks

Do you remember the car you heard at Carlisle?? I must have started my car over twenty times to let folks hear during the three days there.

Maybe it was me. I have a Bassani exhaust with x-pipe and headers.

Let me know if you recognize my car and I can get you some more details if you like.

I too am looking for an exhaust set up with a deep low tone.I really do not like the high pitched "nasal" sound that so many systems have. :chevy

It wasn't someone who was simply starting theirs to let people hear it. It was someone in a Navy Blue C5 who was driving slowly along the dirt road near gate 2 on the grounds right around opening time on Saturday.

What I'm not looking for is a raspy sound or a motorboat idle (as I've heard come from the Corsa Indys)
