Default Neep help quick

I have a 2001 z06 had the sterring coulm fixed now when i start the car it says service coulm again but this time i cant go any where car keeps dyeing out and i am not home im 150 from home and im in a little town and its sat today then sun lol in other words i have to get home help please

sorry if this was posted before i did a serach and have no time to go thru 500 listings

Two most common posts for this that I've seen on here:
1. Battery going bad

2. Bad install of column lock bypass or component failure in the old column lock.

Good luck. Hopefully someone who has lived through this personally will post soon to help you.

You can try to remove and reinstall fuse #25 and 29 in the passenger foot well with the ignition turned to "on" which may reset the BCM. Some have not had good luck with this but it's worth a try. If it doesn't rest you'll have to have it towed to the nearest dealer.
Man, I don't think I've ever read so many vette owners who have had the recall performed and are still getting stranded. It sems everyone is getting these crappy harnesses that are failing. Yours may be something else but I'll put my $$ on the harness as your problem. Good luck.
