I have a h/c '00 'Vert MN6 w/ about 41K and my OE MAF Sensor crapped out on me.

Since I have to replace the electrical component, I'm researching upgrading to the larger 85mm MAF Sensor of the '02+ cars.

Questions:

1) How PCM tuning will have to be done to adjust for the larger MAF sensor?

2) Is there a Plug & Play connector to make the upgrade? Who makes it?

3) Where's the best place to buy a GM MAF sensor regardless of the model year? (I don't want to mess with buying a used one.)

1) The PCM will need to be edited to recalibrate the new MAF to your VE table. A good tuner can do it. Or if you want to do it yourself, this iste is great: LS1HowTo
2) These guys have it. 3 pin to 5 pin adapter.
3) Try Fred Beans.

SLP sells a 85mm MAF that should just plug into your harness and already calibrated. I just ordered one, but I haven't got it yet.
If you get a stock GM MAF, then go for the 02' later LS6 MAF. It comes already descreened from the factory.
Also check on Ebay. I see LPE selling used MAF's quit often, and I am pretty sure they will back up there items they sale. They have a good reputation.
