IAT sensor reading high voltage?
Im getting 2 current codes popping up for my IAT sensor. One is P1111, the other P0113. These are IAT sensor high voltage, and IAT sensor intermittent high voltage. What should I do? Im running like hell, and throwing a check engine light.

swap the IAT from your buddies car(assuming he has a 97-00) and see if this fixes the problem
also check your wiring, especially where the aft of the driver's side intake

Sounds like the IAT thermistor is reporting a high impedance (or open circuit). Check the connector on it to make sure it's firmly seated and the wires are not broken. The intermittent code implies that the circuit is being opened sporatically, like if the connector is loose.

Well, cleared the codes and went for a drive, and got the same 2 codes w/ the check engine light. What do I do now? Replace the IAT sensor? What about the connector?

Good luck!

Did you find the cure for your problem? I am getting the same two error codes. Thanks for any information.

I am having a similar problem. Just the P0113 code. I checked the wireing, cleared the codes and replaced the IAT sensor yesterday. The "Active handling warming up" message came on this morning again then about 10 miles down the road the Ck Eng. light came on again.
Found that after the car sites all night the "Active Handling warming" message comes on. The IAT sensor is telling the PCM that it is cold out I think.
I read a little on the LS1tech web site. Is anyone else that is getting this code running a Blackwing air filter?

I initially thought maybe the Blackwing had something to do with damaging the IAT sensor because of the number of people having problems that were using this filter.
The more I look into the the more I think the connector is just faulty.
Hopefully tomorrow I will have time to look at it more closley.

I'm having the same intermittent issue so I'm thinking I've got a loose wire somewhere.

I had the same issue with a 2000 C5 I just bought. I unplugged the IAT connector and sprayed it with electronic spray cleaner. the problem hasn't came back since (two weeks).
good luck,

Those wires are very thin.
I bet you broke one at the connector.
Just a hunch from what I've read here.
I'd check that first.
You will need a meter to do this.

The connector or the sensor is bad. When I recently got these codes I replaced the sensor and that didn't cure the problem. The male connector that plugs into the sensor was faulty. Spliced in a new $18 connector and that so far as cured the problem.
