I have run the R2's with 750+rwhp and they held up awesome. Currently I am running 700rwhp and 750rwtq, but I havent tested them yet.

I would go with the R2's over the R's mainly for the cornering ability.

Straight line, are they close in performance?

What about tire life?

Don't forget the RII's are half as much to replace, then stock.
I hope to get a season out of them. They will split time with my M/T Et Streets.

Where is the best place to buy the RII's ?
How much are they going for?

Slightly off topic...

What sizes can I use for stock 2004 wheels.

I was thinking of going stock in front and as wide as the wheel will allow in the rear.

Any help greatly appreciated!

I priced the RIIs at Discount at about $1100 installed. You could go to Z size tires on the stock coupe wheels but I wouldn't go any bigger than that.

Best price I found was Direct Tire Online, and then went into my local DIrect Tire, and bought them there.
I put 275/40-17's all around. Didn't feel like putting 18's on the rear. They are $100 more each. Adds up to a lot when you go through them a couple times a year.
