CA Emissions
Asking the experts. Is there a big difference in a 2001 California Vette versus other states that year? In other words would you pass up buying a CA car if you had a similar deal with a different emissions package?
I had thought that by 01 all Vette’s emissions was good across the nation but I think that’s incorrect now. Someone can set me straight me.
Thanks

As far as I know, ALL vettes produced in 2001 were CA emissions compliant. They did not produce "special" emissions complaint vettes just for CA. 95% sure on that.
So, don't pass buying a CA car if you think the emissions package is any different than the rest of the USA. It should be exactly the same.

As long as it is a used car, by the California legal definition of 7500 miles, you will have NO problems.
It's new cars they jack you over about. I bought my 02 new out of state, it wasn't a big deal, they were all 50-state by that time.
