Default Best/brightest headlight bulbs leaving all else stock (wiring, etc)?

Looking for some way to improve the lighting on my car without having to replace wiring, add relays, or any of that....just replace the bulbs. Are there more efficient bulbs available that will brighten up the road considerably, and not overload any of the existing componentry? Thanks!

My 99 6mm coupe had the same problem. I purchased and installed the Sylvania Silver Stars. They are great for my usage. I would say they are about 80% greater lighting than the stockers. I installed both high and low beams. No other wiring changes. Just change out the bulbs. Do not touch the bulbs with your bare hands. It cost me about $ 60.00 total as I purchased them on sale. Some people claim there is not enough change, but I found them to be just what the Dr. ordered. They are just plain brighter white light. I guess you can say that I am more than satisfied with the outcome. Good Luck !

Modify silverstar 9005s to fit in the low beam opening. Simple to do and it really makes a difference.

Did this Mod yesterday. Makes a pretty good difference compared to the stockers. Hard to tell whether it was the increased 10 watts or the silverstars.
