C6 Standard Runflats on C5, Any Issues with Speedometer, AH, TC, etc?
I wasn't sure whether to post this in the C6 Tech section or C5 Tech section. I'm guessing some of you have considered upgrading to 18/19 wheels with the new C6 runflats.
Will I have any issues with speedometer, AH, TC, and ABS with the new tires. Anyone know?
From Goodyear's website:
OEM standard C5 runflats:
P245/45ZR17 Overall Diameter: 25.7
P275/40ZR18 Overall Diameter: 26.6
OEM standard C6 runflats
P245/40ZR18 Overall Diameter: 25.7
P285/35ZR19 Overall Diameter: 26.9
Is the difference in rear diameter enough of a difference to cause any issues?
Thanks for the info!

I ran a set of C6 OE tires and wheels (factory polish w supercar tires) on my car for months without any problems at all.

Ok, I used my calculator from discount tire. I hope I did this right sometimes I get it backwards. I have a link so you can check it. Looks like with the new size tires and wheel if you speedometer reads 65 you will be going 65.46. So not much difference. Here is the link.
