Default Check Engine Light - UGH

Ok -
Driving around today at Bloomington Gold - Check Engine Light comes on.

Car is running fine, Oil Pressure is a bit low - 22-26 PSI.
Trans Fluid / Engine Temp all in the 220's.

It was very warm out today 95+.

Is it a stupid $ 1.00 Sensor - or should I be worried and leave thing in the Garage this weekend.

HELP -

Default well,well...

just as i was thinking of posting about MY CHECK ENGINE LIGHT...here you are!mine just came on too, while sitting at a light.i tried the old turn car off/on routine, that didn't work!i'm going to follow the advice i give my customers at the dealership i work at,if it's not flashing, don't worry about it,it's probably some emissions thing...we'll see what happens!

Default Codes --

10-PCM -
P0113 - Air Intake Sensor Low V
P1111 - Air Circuit Intermit. High V

Think these are all History though - They had the H C after them.

Did not know that - I though H was history.

H C -
What does that stand for?

Turn on car - but don't start it.
Hold Options button down and push Fuel Four Times -
The DIC starts to roll through all the codes.

Write them down quick or wait and then you can toggle through and get them.

Go to Yahoo - Search DIC Corvette- It's the first link.
This tells you what's wrong with the car.

http://www.stengel.net/diccodes.htm Here is the site. The c means current regardless of the h.If it only has an h then it is history. You can get rid of the check engine light if you clear the codes. It sounds like you need amn intake air temp sensor.

Default AMN intake sensor

Do you mean new Air Intake Sensor??
What is AMN??

Clarify.

If so - Is it driveable - I noticed it would rev up at light then die down when I was sitting there tonight.

H is for history and C is for current

After all of the codes has been shown the DIC will display "manual diagnostics, once here you can hit (I believe the options button) to scroll forward and the button above that to scroll back thru each module, when you get to PCM it will display something like "PCM 2 codes" with this shown press and hold the reset button to erase the codes Once erased run the car for a while to see if they stay or come back, I have an O2 sensor code that pops up once in a blue moon and it shows as a current fault but I can erase it and it will stay away for a couple months.

Yes i mean iat sensor. You could do a few things.I will test the impeadance of mine at ambiant temp and give you that info so you can find a resistor that matches and replace the sensor until you can get a new one.Or you can drive it like it is and probably be fine.

Default Sensor

But - why would the check engine light pop up now. That code was out there this past Winter.

Like I said, it would rev up at the light (2K) then back down to idle.
Weird -

I don't know - I just don't want to blow something up thats going to cost two arms and two legs to fix.

Jesse -
Got to get the exact codes.
They are by letter -
Like B2282 or
P 0113

Write those down. Note if the have an H or C after them as well.

Go get them again.
