PFYC - Trunk Partition
Purchased the carpeted version $149.00 plus $10.00 to ship. Doesn't even come close to working. Cost $45.00 to ship back thru Pack & Ship and then PFYC charged between 10-25 % for a restocking fee.

When you say "does'nt even come close to working" what exactly do you mean? Do you have a FRC/ZO6 or a Coupe? I have a partition from corvettepartz.com in my ZO6 and really all it does is seperate the cabin from the trunk, does'nt quiet down the cabin really just looks cool with the ZO6 405HP emblem on it. I am happy with mine.

I have a convertible. It does seperate the trunk but I bought it because it boasted that it eliminates the wheel noise significantly as well as improving the sound from the stereo. This product did not even have the emblem and sat too far back to accomodate the convertible top.

Feel the same, bought the same, disappointed, wasted mod money.
Mine was too wide, I couldn't put the hatch down on the vert, had to trim it on the ends to get it to work. Such a simple thing and it wasn't even right. I won't bash the company but I won't recommend them either.

Top comes down right in front of the partition. Actually provides a lot of protection with the top down so nothing rolls forward into it from the back.

Hmmmm...When did Andy start selling convertible partitions? We are discussing vert partitions right?
Andy, can you post a pic of your quality Vert Partition? I am interested in what you are offering....

We have always had vert partitions
I just do them for the locals! They are a little more expensive than the others we make.
Our main focus is Z06 Partitions.
I will have a customer chime in that has one,Maybe he has a pic he can post.

Each one is a benefit:
- they reduce road noise,
- they improve the sound system (I.e., stereo) when the top is down,
- they protect the top from marks and damage from other things carried in the trunk,
- they are very attractive, matching the color combination of each of my Verts perfectly.
Unfortunately I do not have pictures, and if I did I have no ability to post them (I have exceeded the Forums maximum for hosting )
However, if you would like a picture, e-mail me and I'll send them to you.

I got mine from corvettepartitions.com and it works great. This model allows you to access the storage tubs without removing it. You may want to add Dynamat to the wheel tubs.

THanks. We pride ourselves on quality. We had an issue with the adhesive on the ABS, but thats solved now. Our FRC/Z06 partitions ARE the best fit on the market and use only top quality materials. OEM is also available too. Look for our new PATENTED coupe partition coming out for the C5 and C6 soon.

I have a pretty good partition, but I can not get it to stay in place. Everytime I stop, it falls down... Any recommendations on how to keep it in place?

Thanks Andy-- Yes, this one is completely unique to the coupes and nothing even close to the frc/z06 or vert partitions. Thats why no one sees it until it's a done deal with the patent office. Keeps posted coupe owners......
