Cigarette Lighter Fuse?
My 2003 manual and fuse layout is different from my mother-in-law's 2001 coupe, and she does not have an owner's manual. The cigarette lighter is dead (but the auxilliary charger under the console works). Is there a seperate fuse somewhere for the dash cigarette lighter? Or is the element dead? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

I dont know if this will help, but I replaced my cigarette lighter and auxillary power fuses a couple of weeks ago, and they were located in the fuse box, not the one in the engine, but under passenger side floor mat. You have to remove your floor mat and peel back the carpet. Now, I have a '99 so I dont know, but hope this helps. Also, cheapest place i have found for owners manuals is Helm Inc., not sure of the website though.

If it turns out that isn't the fuse I will relate my li'l two cents,.........When I installed the hurst shifter I had to unplug the ciggie' lighter, When I put everything back together I felt the wire connection was awfull loose,....................Ya, I was right I know that I did it right but the wire didn't stay pluged in I now wonder if it is so loose that it could vibrate off over time, on its own????????

It is fuse # 07. It reads C/LTR (20 amp) It is in the Instrument panel Electrical Center.

Checked cigarette light in ashtray area - it works. I only saw a square yellow fuse connected to a device - with Air Bag stamped on it. Console lighter also works.
All fuses 10 - 40 amps work as tested, engine and floor. I could not test the black square shaped fuses.
Should I pull out the cluster and replace the bulb. Is it solder in?
