Default Can anyone confirm K&N P# for Vararam?

I have a Vararam 2B on the way and I was wondering what the part # for the K&N comptable filter was. I have heard not so good things about the filter that comes with it.

Thanks.

Do a search for "VaraRam contents". There was a recent post where someone named the number in there. It is for a Triumph.

I switched from the K&N to the VaraRam Baja filter.

Thanks for the info. Will this K&N seal OK by itself or will I have to place some type of foam around it?

Dunno really. It feels about the same but the Baja seems to fit and seal better. I had to use a perimeter foam seal on the K&N to get it to seal properly although I never found any dirt or debris in my intake with the K&N in. The Baja was ~$50. Wasn't too happy with that price but Patrick claims it outflows their earlier filters and filters better than the K&N.

I also run the Baja filter. I agree with another CF member who stated that he had a fine dust in his TB. I noticed the same thing in mine last week. I'm gonna drop a K&N airfilter in for daily driving. I wonder if the local autozone carries these on the shelves?

No, they don't. Best price I found on line was at performanceintl.com

I have also been looking into the K&N 33-2011, which by the dimensions may be a better fit in the Vararam. Just haven't had the chance to order it yet and find out. I am hoping to order it from Advance or Autozone who will allow a return if it doesn't fit.
