Default 1225 CODE. Throttle position sensor. What causes this code?

I've got this code on and off for about a year now. I used to be able to just go in and clear it and be OK, but lately it won't clear out. It comes in conjuction with a traction control code. I have a feeling one is causing the other. FWIW I have a Magnuson and I think that some wiring may have come lose. Any ideas where I should start looking?
