I am about to order my i/c Mag and wanted to compliment my install with a good wideband, but cannot decide on which one is the best route to go. Does anyone have input on the best kit available right now?
Guys, could you give a rundown as to how these widebands log/integrate with your tuning and scanning software? Do you need an extra line into your laptop? Does the wideband data come up in EFILive/HP Tuners, etc...or do you need to have a separate program open?
I don't know about the others, but the LM-1 logs 45 minutes of driving in the hand-held unit itself. It can be a single 45 minute drive... or a series of shorter drives - not to exceed 45 minutes total. You take the display unit to any PC and transfer the stored log(s) to that PC and then run the provided LogWorks software.
I've heard that Innovate will release real-time-view PC software in the 3rd quarter of this year.
Of course the A/F ratio is always shown real time on the hand-held units display. Available now is an interface that connects the LM-1 to a Mustang Dyno and inputs live data into the Mustang dynos log. It was shown on HorsePower TV.

Any help is appreciated.

Looks like a nice unit..... Does the kit have anything to read RPM so when u log u can see RPM Vs AF?
The wideband commander does all the LM1 does and more. It also has an internal log only 15 minutes compared to 45. It has a separate Gauge so you can keep an eye on the A/F at all times as well as real time monitoring software via USB and their software which gives you a readout similar to the one you'd see at the bottom of a dynograph. The nice thing is I can currently log wideband and the computer since the WBC uses USB. It also has a VERY programmable output to control alcohol, n20, shiftlight, whatever you can think of. You'll be able to use any wideband with 0-5v reference (LM1 and WBC) with the new HP tuners suite
