Default where did you start with edit?

Ordered edit today just curious where you guys started at with it? I'm gonna take very very small steps for a while until I figure out what I'm doing. I want to make trans changes and fan adjustments first before I start doing engine adjustments. I had hpp3 on it up until now so I'd just like to get back to that point first then start working on making it better. First step is to read as much as possible. Can't wait to get started!!

First step is to have your PCM re-flashed back to stock. Some have reported problems when trying to use LS1 edit after a PCM has been reprogramed using HPP3, Preditor etc. My 2 cents........

Have fun LS1 Edit is great when used correctly!

I've uninstalled the hpp3 and resold it already.

I have a f-body and not a y-body but my opinion is if you don't have the cash to lay down for any other programmer and own an auto that's basically stock hpp3 isn't a bad way to go. You can pick one up used for less than $200 and sell it later on and get most or all of your money back. Just out of curiosity before I sold it I used the g-tech and made a run on it with the hpp3 then uninstalled it and drove the car around a while and made another run and was .2 & 1.5mph slower in the quarter without it. I'm ready to do bigger and better mods so the hpp3 isn't even in the same league with edit there. JMO
