predator will not be made for 97-98 c5
the title says it all. I contacted DIABLOSPORT and was told that they are too busy with late model vehicles. :mad

Re: predator will not be made for 97-98 c5 (emptypockets)
I think it should be important to reword what is stated:
Current development for the Predator is on 99-03 vehicles, GM and Ford. There is a possibility in the future that DiabloSport may offer a Predator for pre-99 vehicles.
If they ever do, trust me, it will be fully announced clearly on the website and on these forums.
Very Sincerely,
James - RWTD

Please, if it was in the process of having the bugs worked out, then you would say so. How long is a "possibility"? Just give me a straight answer so that I know if I should wait or move on. :bs

A pre-99 Predator is not being developed, as I've said above, but there has never been anyone state it will definitively NOT be done. Current development and marketing is on the 99+ vehicles.
All this has been stated many times before, and as I've stated all along, if such product is ever going to be developed upon, then it will be clearly stated when such happens.
Pre-99 owners have nice options to choose from now, so please do not let a possibility hold you back from progressing further.
Very Sincerely,
James

James, for what its worth, I was hoping to buy the predator. Main reason is that you stand behind your product and seem to handle dissatisfied customers professionally. Ive been lurking and checking threads and was hoping the predator would be available. BTW, nothing personal about the BS flag. ;)

It has been my experience with James that he has been 100% professional and eagerly accepts any customer issues as opportunities and not problems. For the record, I'm NOT a customer of his, I purchased my Predator from his competition....and he still has gone above and beyond to help me.
In all fairness, to bash him because the manufacturer of his product is not producing what you feel they should, is unjust.
anyways, good luck with your LS-1 Edit it is a fine product.
James, keep up the good work friend.
 to all

Re: predator will not be made for 97-98 c5 (ToplessTexan)
I assume vendors should never be able to have a lil fun and cut up with the gang, 'eh? I'm still very much a member of this board, and a customer in everyday life as anyone else. I've always shown complete courtesy and professionalism when representing my products, my customers, and have gone out of the way to help even non-customers (thanks Palmetto for pointing that out, bud). I have continually explained DiabloSport's stance on the pre-99 vehicles, only at times to be ridiculed and mocked again and again.
Next time I'll make sure I throw in a "just kidding" on any post that I make with any form of humor in it.

No harm, no foul.
I will say that no vendor should expect to come here and advertise product enthusiastically and not expect to have feedback (both positive and negative) proportional to that enthusiasm.
I will also say that I am exceptionally glad that I am not a vendor trying to do business here. It has always been a very difficult place to balance enthusiast and business interests. Humor is a funny thing that way.
