Default need a starter file

Hey guys. Wondering if someone can email me a starter tune for my 1998 c5 for use with hptuners? I just installed the typical bolt-ons, i.e vararam, 1-3/4" lts, corsa x-pipe, and b&b bullets (car sounds wicked now btw ). I just need a tune file to get me in the ballpark so i can tune with my wideband and datalogger for now until i install my head/cam package and take it to my closest reputable dyno shop...200 miles away Anyways, if anyone can help please pm me and i will shoot you my email. Thanks!

Did you check the files in HP Tuners file repository?

Try this one I got from HP Tuners tune repository. To get to the repository, log in to www.HPTuners.com and it should take you right to your Customer Center where one of the links is the Tune Repository. This particular tune looks to be close to your mods only for a M6 car. Might get you in the ballpark if you load your stock tune from your car then do a comparison and transfer settings as appropriate for the auto vs. manual tunes.

Honestly, with the mods you mentioned you should be close enough with your stock file to start logging. Intake and exhaust don't really need much tuning.
Don't throw some random tune from the repository into your car.
