1514 Problem(s)?
I just finished a super charger install. When I got it back from the tuner it threw a 1514 code at just under 5,000 RPM. I should note the tuner did take the car well beyond during tuning. In addition to the 1514 it also threw C1278H,U1064H,U1016H& U0196H "reduced engine power" & "service traction control"
I returned it to the tuner and he made an adjustment in some density table and increased it to what I understand to be 80% above the stock level. On the way home same thing, just under 5,000. Just before I ran it up (while driving) it did have a radio code. Could the radio code be related to the 1514 or is it just coincidence? LS6 with A&A S/C running 13PSI.
Thanks

PO 1514 is a common code for any modded LS1---All you have to do is go to the "predicted airflow table"and add like 30% to the entire table-In EFILIVE it is table
C6101---not sure what it is in HP Tuners
It will never go into limp mode again !!!

If it is still going into limp mode it could be the TCS TQ limit---Stock is 350 Lbs with the TC button ON----Try turning the TC OFF and see if it happens then--If not then you would have to turn if off all the time you want to drive it racy----You can raise the TQ limit to the max of 640 but that would totally eliminate the TQ control all the time--The TC is your friend---It will save your *** when you aren't ready for max power like around a turn at WOT---
I asuume your car is a 6 speed---But as an example even a STOCK C5 when adding a large stall converter will multiply the TQ so much that it will exceed the stock limit of 350 lbs---- and the only way around that s to turn the TC off to get full power--and much safer !!!
