2001 C5 dies after highway Speeds
Need some help with my 2001... engine dies after highway speeds as I am slowing down. Just had a K&N cold air intake installed and had it tuned. It will start right back up and run fine at lower speeds < 60 or 70 and will not die then.
Codes
P 0141 - Oxygen - this would come on intermittently before the tune and cold air intake
u1064 and 1016
SCM 2605
Any Ideas

If you have high miles,over100k, manditory change on all of them. OE guys recomend 50-60 k miles. Tuner, thats a big target. Just a cai and a flash on a c5? It has been done many times. Probably not it. Unless you were a victom of incompedance. Go back to stock and try to repeat failure. But file back on . If it returns ,tune. Pick up any unmarried hand held and do it yourself. Canned tunes after 2000 are pretty reliable. Buying service or hardware? I had to go threw it all. Hopefully you won't.
My two cents,
Mike
Try a battery disconect for 30 min. Connect and drive normal for 20 min. This will perform a relern. This works great on fords. Do not go wot.
