Anyone using the ebay ELM327 OBD2 USB cables?
Bought one on ebay, can't get it to connect with the software supplied. Can't be the freaking complicated to communicate with the damn computer. Using Scantool.net software, but big surprise if you don't buy their tool then zero support. Tried it on the Beetle, Denali, and Vert and nada.

I'm also using an ELM327 on an older laptop (DB9 connection) and it works good. I found proscan software to be the best (in the freebie dept). Does windows auto install the USB driver or do you have to do it manually. Has to be a port configuration issue.
